Avery Eighteen, dry hopped rye saison… so refreshing on a warm evening.
IPA in a can!
The cans we designed for West Sixth Brewing Company are in and they look great! This was bit of a dream job for us and now that we can hold the can in our hands it’s even more satisfying. Now…to drink a beer out of one!
We also design the logo.
Here’s the can I designed for Lexington’s newest brewery, West Sixth Brewing Co. They look great! Can’t wait to pop one open!
Latest poster I designed for Lexington’s 3rd annual Tweed Ride. If you live nearby, like bikes, beers and having a good time, please check it out… this has become one of the best bike events in Lexington, and it grows each year. March 17th, right after the St. Patty’s Day parade.
I’m a big fan of the Schlafly Bourbon Barrel Ale. It has a really good balance of bourbon flavor and malty rich character.

Since mid-2011, I’ve been working with a local microbrewery, West Sixth Brewing, on a series of logos and graphics for their upcoming beers and tap room. Just last week, they got approval on the can design that I worked up for their IPA, which will be the first canned beer offered by a Kentucky microbrewery. Shown here is a digital mock-up of the can. The line of text along the top of the can reads: “Why a can? Better for the beer. Better for the planet. Better on the go.”
